BACKGROUND
For those who have been part of the Beauty World for some time, may very well be aware of what Halo Beauty Vitamins are but for those of you who are not…….. it is what can be considered a “skin care regime”.
This may mislead you into thinking it is some sort of topical skin care but they are ACTUAL VITAMINS to be taken orally.
It was created by YouTuber, Tati Westbrook, stunning in beauty and brains. She developed these as she believed beauty does not only come from the the outside but within…..LITERALLY!!!
The concept is, it’s only so much topical beauty skincare you can use to treat blemishes and other skin issues but when treated from the inside out, it can hit the problem at its source and aid in the prevention of problematic skin.
PERSONAL REVIEW
Let me just cut to the chase and start off by saying…..IT IS FANTASTIC!!! I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!
Pros
- It works!
- All it takes is one pill daily and it packs a punch vs Halo Hair, Skin, Nails Which requires two pills
- It not only clears up blemishes and breakouts, but texture as well.
- Aids in prevention of new blemishes and breakouts.
- Aids with minimizing pores
- Makes the skin on ur face and ENTIRE body feels softer and smoother.
- Can even clear “backne”
- Reduces and even Eliminates the appearance of redness.
- If you do get a breakout, it disappears faster.
- For those who are accustom with breakouts getting inflammed especially when you pick on it, Kiwi reduces/eliminates that from happening resulting in faster healing time.
- Can be used as an addition to your daily topical skin care routine to address skin issues from the inside and out
Cons
- Took me a bit more than two (2) weeks to see any changes at all with the first changes being small changes in the softness of my skin and took a bottle or more to see actual reduction in breakouts. (This May vary from person to person however)
- Can give you indigestion for those of us with stomach issues but will recommend eating first and drinking lots of water with it.
- Like with most vitamins, you will need to increase your intake of water or else it can lead to you feeling dehydrated.
- Can make your eyes feel dry or your dry eyes feel drier. (Which is strange because it has an ingredient in it that she has marketed in her new multi-vitamins that is specifically targeted for dry eyes called ASTAXANTHIN)- again can be due to the lack of drinking sufficient water
- Pill is a bit large (but manageable because of shape)
- It is marketed to clear hyperpigmentation and dark marks and also in the prevention of such but this definitely has not happened for me. But I do have really dark marks and my skin naturally takes a long time for marks to disappear (if at all) and I’m also constantly in the sun as I’m from a Caribbean Island and also do field work. I expected however to at least see the hyperpigmentation lightning but it didn’t.
- Can only be purchased online at; https://halobeauty.com/collections/halobeauty/products/halo-beauty-kiwi
Despite the cons mentioned, I can still personally stand by Halo Beauty’s Kiwi and can attest that you will not have any regrets trying the product even with the cons, as the PROS are enough to be worth it especially when paired with a daily skin care regime!!!
